Qa'a Ka's Mentor, Reveals Secret to Ka...

The "Book of Ra" was said to contain all the wisdom of the earth and the heavens beyond. The book was said to have been given to the great Pharaoh Djoser (Third Dynasty) by Ra himself... The book's cover and its pages within were made of sheet thin gold and printed in raised hieroglyphics. The book measured about 12 by 10 inches and it was contained in a strange black metal casing that when closed locked automatically. The only way to open the book's outer casing was by pushing a sequence of  raised hieroglyphic ideograms on the book's unusual metal casing shell. The code sequence was known only to the chief high priest in charge, at the Temple of Ra. The sacred book was always kept locked in the sanctuary base beneath the stone statue of Ra. The book's coded access sequence was known only by the "chief high priest" presently Qa'a. It was said that the golden pages contained within the book, contained the sum of all knowledge in the universe and beyond, to be used for good or evil.
Ka had at this time now been a high priest for five years and had just turned 32 years of age, when Qa'a his old mentor and "chief high priest" was near to crossing the river of death into the afterlife. On his death bed, Qa'a instructed Ka regarding the sacred "Book of Ra" of the book's contents, then verbally told Ka the correct hieroglyphic sequence to gain access to the inside of  the book, by unlocking the  outer casing shell for the book within. Qa'a's last words to his beloved Ka were that the knowledge of the book's content had the power to destroy mankind and the earth. Thus Qa'a passed to the afterlife, and now Ka found himself the new chief high priest in the Temple of Ra.

                                                "The Blessing Ceremony"

The blessing ceremony for Ka's appointment as the "new" chief high priest was conducted by Pharaoh Khafra himself,  who was the "supreme" high priest in the Temple of Ra, later that week. After the blessing ceremony, the pharaoh and Ka anointed the stone statue of Ra with "holy water" from the Nile, then Ka placed the sacred "Book od Ra" in a secret space in the base of the statue of Ra, then locked and sealed the sanctuary doors. Ka was now in complete charge at the temple and chief advisor to Pharaoh Khafra, Ka always in the years ahead carried out his duties with solemn earnest dignity, and was well liked by the other priests in the temple and court palace. In time Ka also took on more resposibilities for his beloved Pharaoh Khafra, who now was getting on in years and soon would cross the river of death.
It is said that after King Khafra's death, Ka, having on occasion, opened and read the text of the "Book of Ra", feared the knowledge it contained would fall into the wrong hands in time, and be used for evil and the possible distruction of earth itself. Fearing this, Ka had the secret book sealed in "secret chambers" in King Khafra's pyramid at the time of his beloved pharaoh's death. But before, Ka had transcribed the text of the sacred book on some scrolls for his private viewing.
To date, the book still remains in its "secret place"  somewhere in Pharaoh Khafra's pyramid, and Ka the "once" lowly scribe took the book's secrets with him to his grave, thus preserving the "maat" of the world ...
